We do offer custom knives, but not made to order. The custom knives offered are created with predetermined designs.
It is possible to commission a custom knife, just not by us…..yet.

We do not currently offer gift wrapping for orders, so please plan accordingly!
That said, who says you have to use traditional gift wrap? What is wrong with newspaper, or toilet paper? How about a clean towel that has been taped closed. That is better for the environment anyways, isn’t it?
You could also go the lazy gift wrapping way, and drop it into a gift bag, (we also do not offer that). This has to be the lamest way to gift wrap a present…..just saying.
If within seven (7) days of your YUP GEAR purchase, you find the identical item sold for a lower price by a different online retailer, YUP GEAR will match the competitor’s advertised whole price, including any applicable shipping fees charged by the other retailer. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a link to the identical item on the other site to verify an eligible price match. Our policy requires:
- Price match must be on item of identical style, size, and color.
- The item must be first quality. We will not price match factory seconds, open-box items, any non-new merchandise, or items sold at auction or by a wholesaler or liquidator.
- The identical item must be in stock on the retailer’s site.
- The retailer’s promotions must be publicly visible on their site for verification and not require sign up. The retailer’s first time customer and other personalized coupons do not apply.
- The retailer’s website must be an authorized distributor of the brand.
- The retailer’s price must be published in U.S. dollars.
- During YUP GEAR promotions, items can be discounted through either a price match or a YUP GEAR promotion, but not a combination of both.
- YUP GEAR is obligated to charge any applicable sales tax on the competitor’s price.
If an item you previously purchased from YUP GEAR is marked down within seven (7) days of the original order date, YUP GEAR will adjust the price of an item, once. To verify a price adjustment, please email email@example.com.
- Include your original order number with your request.
- Eligible refunds will be applied to your original form of payment.
Please note that any promotional pricing is for a limited time only and cannot be honored after the sale has ended.
We process orders as quickly as possible to get your gear out to you as soon as possible. This means in most cases, we can’t make any changes after an order has been placed. We cannot make any changes after we have sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.

- Add or remove items
- Change the shipping address

Cancellations and order modifications are not guaranteed and can only be made during business hours (Monday – Thursday from 6am to 5:30pm PT, Friday from 6am to 4:30pm PT).
Orders paid for with PayPal must ship to the original shipping address. If you request an address change for a PayPal order, we will cancel the order instead.
Additionally, we cannot add additional items to an order if ApplePay was used as the payment method.

International customers are solely responsible for the payment of all duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees.
Customs, duties, and taxes can vary widely by location, so please check with your local customs agency for more details before you place an order. We cannot provide an estimate at this time.

- PACKAGES SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA
As of July 1, 2018, a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) will now be applied to orders at the time of purchase due to new tax laws in Australia. This is instead of import customs taxes being charged when the package arrives in Australia. This page has a summary of the changes in the law.
- PACKAGES SHIPPING TO NEW ZEALAND
Beginning December 1, 2019, a 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST) will now be applied to orders at the time of purchase due to new tax laws in New Zealand. This is instead of import customs taxes being charged when the package arrives in New Zealand. Please click here for more information from the New Zealand Customs Authority.
We are not currently able to delay shipping an order.
If it will not be possible for someone to be present to receive an order soon after it’s placed, we would recommend waiting to place it until it’s convenient to receive it.

Trying to find your package? Don’t have it yet?
Sorry — this can happen sometimes! Occasionally a carrier will tag a package as delivered before it’s been physically dropped off.
Please check your front porch, side door, back porch, garage area, bushes, mailbox, and mail room to make sure it’s not hiding or jammed. Also, please ask any neighbors, housemates, concierges, and coworkers (if delivered to work) if they may have received it for you.

If your package still hasn’t turned up 3 days after the delivery date shown in your tracking information, please firstname.lastname@example.org for help.
For orders heading to the contiguous 48 US states, YUP GEAR offers thee standard options you would expect.
- Depending on package weight and destination, we ship with USPS 1st Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground.
YUP GEAR does not offer expedited shipping options for international orders or those heading to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or APO/DPO/FPO addresses.
We ship to many countries around the world: Argentina, Australia, Austria, the Bahamas, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and the British and US Virgin Islands.
Shipping costs for orders outside of the U.S. vary depending on the destination. The shipping costs for international orders are displayed on the checkout page.
Please note that customs/duties fees are not included in the price of shipping and are the sole responsibility of the customer upon delivery if applicable.
International free shipping only applies to orders with a subtotal (the total cost of the items in your cart, not including tax or shipping) of $198.00 USD or more. The free shipping discount is automatically applied at checkout.
Please note that some products do not ship internationally, including (but not limited to) knives/blades, flammable items, items with lithium batteries, and any products that require special handling due to their weight and/or size. These shipping restrictions will be stated on individual product pages.
YUP GEAR cannot make any delivery date guarantees for orders shipped to addresses outside of the US.

Does YUP GEAR have friends? Of course we have friends! Friends make things fun, and we like to have fun! It is also well known that friends can bring drama, and knives to plunge into your back, but we do our best to avoid those ones!
In a world were you can only go so far without friends, you may find yourself alone. What does this mean? Not much, but it was fun to type out.

Can I make a special request? Um. Yes. You can ask anything you want. Fill out the contact form on the Customer Service Page, or just shoot Adam an email.
As soon as you send it, it will be reviewed, and answered in a timely manner. Will it be granted? Maybe. Since we do not know what your special request is right now, we do not know if wee can do it. If it is something like a color or material request, there is a good chance of getting your way. If you are asking for pin numbers, or blood types, then we will be saying no. The easier the ask, the more likely it will happen. Time is a precious thing, and we appreciate yours.
Feel free to test the limits. You do not know unless you ask, and the worst thing we can say to you is, “no.” Try to keep this professional. If not try to at least make us laugh. We are always in the mood for a good laugh.
What would you want a special request on? Is it the CYA?
How should I drink my coffee?
How should I drink my coffee? The answer, is often.
Often. That is it! Simple question, simple answer.
We love coffee in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night! Because of this, our answer should not surprise you.
You may not like that answer. The question may still remain. Whether you drink you coffee black, with lumps, or sugar, drink up. We suggest a dark roast coffee with just a drip of cream. Use barely enough to change the color and that is it. Do not use a flavored creamer, just use plain creamer. Even plain cream is best. Remember, you want your coffee to taste like coffee.
It is a bit funny when you pour yourself a cup of coffee, and then instantly change it to a flavor like french vanilla. There are so many flavors out there so we know that you must be drinking them! We have seen some people just drink the creamer over ice, and that is just nuts. Coffee is a gift, and it should be celebrated daily.
Speaking of gifts, giving coffee as a gift is always a great go to. When possible buy some coffee and keep in on hand. If you do not use it as a gift, you will always be able to go back to it in the SHTF situations!

Do I need to Love Guns?
No. You do not need to love guns to be here. Hopefully you like positivity, humor, and value because if you do, you are in the right place. YUP!
Guns have a stigma about them that may cause fear. This place does not fear them. We hope you enjoy all of the items available here.
The question of, “Do I need to Love Guns?” is actually a strange question. Why in the world would you ever need to even ask this question? It is understandable if you are trying to join a club, or start a new relationship based on guns, but other than that?….. (did you know we have a BLOG section that addresses this topic? Check out the Blog Buddy section.)
Do I need to Love My Kids? Well, yes. This should be a very easy thing to do. It would certainly be unfortunate if you had to ask this about your kids, but if you are asking this question you might have a good reason.
The Love of Guns is not required. Whether you agree with the possession of fire arms or not, you can still appreciate the craftsmanship of a firearm. Developed over time, they seem to get better and better each year. Traditionalists may disagree, but that is fine. We live in a land where it is OK to disagree.

Does the CYA accept all handguns? Yes or No.
The answer is No.
It does have an adjustable wedge that enables it to accept most, however “ALL” is just too big of an ask. Obviously we have not tested “ALL” pistols, but this is a safe answer for you. We haven’t actually tested one that did not fit, but there will be a day that it will happen. You are welcome to ask about a specific piece, and we will try it out for you (if possible). We will happy accept gifts. I mean really, it could be Christmas everyday. It is up to you!

We also want to see what you are talking about. Obvious right? Make sure to include pictures of what you are talking about. Video is also awesome! If pictures are worth a thousand words, than video is worth like a “kajillion”. Once we get past the hearing, and seeing, we then want to do some touching. It needs to get in our hands and we need to put it to the test!
If you are making quality items that fit with us then it should be a great experience. If you have multiple items and only some of them get the “YUP”, then we can still work with you on that level. Every circumstance is different, so we will review on a case by case basis.

“What do I need to know about placing an order during the pandemic?” It is a question we never thought we would have to answer. First off, you have to wear a mask while ordering online. Let’s just be safe. Just Kidding.
This just seems like something you would hear in a fictional book, or in a history book. However, we are all living through this part of our history, so we will try to answer the question the best that we can.

You will have to keep tabs on what the CDC is recommending as it has changed so fast that it is hard to keep up!
What does this have to do with placing an order? Really not much. It is good to try to stay safe in general, so we are offering the information that is being offered to us. Obviously there are many points of view on this subject, and this isn’t a resource to gain the knowledge to help you decide. This is just a webpage that is supposed to be talking about your order.
Delivery times may be longer than usual.
You can find updated delivery times on the product detail page for each item, and in checkout. Do not use delivery addresses for buildings that may be closed due to the current provisions (e.g. schools). Because of the delay in shipping, we ask that you please give us a chance to get you your order without yelling at us, or dropping a negative review or comment. We will honestly do our best to get you what you ordered as fast as we can.

INS AND OUTS OF THE YUP GEAR RETURN POLICY
To be eligible for a free return, the following criteria must be met:
- All returns must be related to a YUPGEAR.com order. YUPGEAR does not offer returns on items purchased outside of YUPGEAR.com.
- All returns must be processed through our Returns Portal within 30 days of original purchase. Once approved, a pre-paid shipping label will be provided.
- Any shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable
- Any additional return shipping costs are non-refundable.
- All merchandise must be unused and undamaged and returned in its original packaging.
Once your return has been received, allow up to 15 business days to process your refund. Refunds will be returned to the original form of payment. YUP GEAR does not offer store credit or gift cards for returned products. YUP GEAR does not accept returns on customized product.
For exchanges, please return your item(s) for a full refund and replace an order on YUPGEAR.com for the correct item.
YUP GEAR does not price match with dealers or competitors.
SHIPPING YOUR RETURN
Follow these guidelines when shipping your return:
- Pack your item securely to ensure there is no damage to the returned product during transit.
- You may use the original product packaging or your own. Make sure any reference to old tracking numbers is completely removed.
- Insert any related paperwork inside your box. This can include your RMA # or original order number.
- Securely attach your return label to the package.
- Ship your return based on the shipping label provided. We recommend retaining a copy of your drop-off receipt for your records.
If you choose to use your own shipper, please include original order information or the return RMA number inside the box. We recommend selecting a service that allows for package tracking and keeping the tracking number for your records. Any additional return shipping costs are non-refundable.

To start your return, you’ll need the order reference number (e.g. R123456789) and the shipping zipcode as it appears in your order confirmation email. Then, you can select the item(s) you’d like to return.

Returning items in multiple boxes?
You will need to create a separate return label for each box. Begin the return process as described above and select only the items that will fit in the first box. Our portal will generate one return label for that box. Then, begin a new return in the portal and select only the items that will fit in the second box. We’ll generate a second label for the second box
We are not currently able to provide prepaid return labels for addresses outside the U.S. We apologize for the inconvenience!
